Beef Strips with Sesame Vegetables and Noodles

I like this recipe because it feels a little more indulgent, but it still fits perfectly into a healthy dinner routine.

A flavorful stir-fry with beef strips, vegetables, whole wheat noodles, and a simple sesame-soy sauce.

Bereidingswijze

  1. 1

Cook the noodles according to the package instructions and set aside.

  2. 2

Heat a large pan or wok over high heat. Stir-fry the beef strips for 1–2 minutes until browned but still tender. Remove from the pan.

  3. 3

In the same pan, add the broccoli and cook for 3–4 minutes.

  4. 4

Add the mushrooms and bell pepper and stir-fry for another 3–4 minutes.

  5. 5

Add garlic and ginger and cook for 1 minute.

  6. 6

Add soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, and water. Let it simmer briefly.

  7. 7

Return the beef to the pan and add the cooked noodles. Toss everything together until well coated.

  8. 8

Serve topped with sesame seeds and spring onions.

  9. 9

Finish with a squeeze of lime juice or a drizzle of chili oil for extra flavor.

Iron-rich and full of energy

Beef is an important source of iron and Vitamin B12, essential for energy levels and muscle function. Using plenty of vegetables and whole wheat noodles ensures a low glycemic index, keeping you sharp and satisfied.
